Hand Therapy
Hand therapists are highly trained clinicians who work exclusively in the treatment of the hand and upper limb.
In Australia, every hand therapist begins their career as either a qualified Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist. They then undertake years of additional education, mentoring and clinical experience focused solely on hand and upper limb conditions.
Many of our therapists have achieved Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association) status—Australia's highest recognised credential in hand therapy. This accreditation requires extensive postgraduate training, clinical practice, ongoing professional development and rigorous assessment.
